I’m intrigued/confused. Starting at about 13:42 (Ep 9 Straight Outta New York) Lindsay says Joseph owes his father-in-law a debt but that Hyrum is in court for the debt. Why would Hyrum be legally responsible?

I’d like to know more about this as I’m Interested specifically in Joseph’s relationship with Emma’s dad, Isaac Hale.
