Description

The effects of artificial intelligence on Mormonism will go far beyond hearing sacrament meeting talks written by AI. This session will explore further probabilities, such as the digital resurrection of the dead through the recreation of family photos and videos, and ancestor simulations speaking from the dust. It will also explore probable difficulties, such as the effects of “hallucinations” and bad actors on the direction of Mormon discourse and culture. Will AI act more as a Liahona or a Tower of Babel?
