Description
This paper presents the basic neuroscience underpinning a form of meditation that teaches practitioners how to integrate different regions of the brain, connect the subconscious with the rational brain, and resolve stress-hormone-charged implicit memories that otherwise produce irrational behavior. Using this method can expand our agency by deepening our self-knowledge and enhancing our ability to choose rationally, ultimately helping us to transcend suffering.
