Virtual Refugee Dinner

Stay Safe, Eat Good Food, Support Local Business

Tuesday, March 31

Join Us (Wherever You Are) for a Virtual Dinner Party!

“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.” – Hebrews 13:2

The most vulnerable members of our community are feeling the effects of a worldwide pandemic more than ever. Make a difference by supporting a small regugee-owned business in Salt Lake City at our Virtual Refugee Dinner, and tune in to our live stream after delivery for a dinner party like none other.

Order your meal(s) here, and have them delivered to your front door. Food is according to current FDA food preparation guidelines, taking extra precautions to ensure safe and sanitary meals. Food will be transported in a sanitary hot box and come ready to eat. Meals can be heated in an oven or microwave as an extra food safety precaution.

On Monday, March 30th, you'll receive delivery/pickup instructions and a link to our virtual after party! Tune in to connect with the community gathered to support our chef and eachother in times of uncertainty.

Meet Our Chefs

Kamal and Geeta Sharma moved to Utah with their three children in 2010. They are originally from Bhutan, but lived in Nepal before their resettlement in the United States. When asked to describe Bhutan, Kamal’s face lights up as he describes the mountains.

Bhutan House Restaurant at 1241 East 8600 South in Sandy celebrated their grand opening on Oct. 7, 2017. Chefs Kamal and Geeta are the second Spice Kitchen entrepreneurs to open a restaurant! Bhutan House is a family affair; Kamal handles the business and can often be found cooking together with Geeta and their daughters.
