The lived Mormon faith is built around the individual, their family, and their connection to their local ward or branch. But what happens to a person’s faith when they are physically cut off from both their family and ward? This session examines the lives, struggles, and faith journeys of a dozen members living in a Mesa, Arizona assisted living center, focusing on their wide range of spiritual and physical needs and how they modify the rituals of their faith (the sacrament, FHE, missionary & temple work) to accommodate their living situation and create vibrant, new spiritual communities.
