Bodies, Parts and Persons: Image and Identity in Women’s Lives Identity and worth in females have long been associated with culturally manipulated perceptions about physical beauty. The panel will explore the relationship of body image and the sense of self in girls and women. It will also discuss the effects that society’s obsession with physical beauty has on their lives.
