A Mormon can’t get a temple recommend if they drink coffee or black tea, but they can get one if they consume energy drinks that have five times as much caffeine as either. Could you link the article you read from about land use for alcohol and drugs?
Thanks again.
Actually, NO tea is acceptable, except herbal. My doctor recommended green tea for me as I have MS and needed something to help with fatigue. I always disclosed this during my recommend interviews, and for years it was OK. However, three years ago, it stopped being OK. So I now drink sugar-free energy drinks for that needed boost.
