Description

Book of Mormon authorship has revolved around three primary theories: the faithful claim of ancient scripture and two critical views: the Sole Author Theory and the Spalding/Rigdon Theory. Research into answering the question has revolved primarily around evidence presented by historical documents and their analysis. The best method for determining Book of Mormon authorship would be to consider all evidence available.

No systematic meta analysis of the eight Book of Mormon wordprint studies has yet been conducted–a seemingly glaring oversight into this research question. The presentation will review five known studies and three overlooked studies, two of which provide additional compelling evidence of multiple authorship. The eight studies, conducted over the past 46 years illustrate a maturing science where all studies point to a remarkably consistent conclusion.
