About Our speakers

Amy Mabey is a senior at Ohio State University majoring in English and Creative Writing with a minor in Philosophy. She is also a Mama Dragon.

Cynthia Vermillion: VP of Columbus, Ohio PFLAG

Heather Larkins Riddle: former head of Public Affairs for the Valencia Stake LA county in Los Angeles County. Member of Mama Dragons and mom to an amazing LGBTQ.

Keith Norman: lives in Solon, OH with his wife Kerry and three laying hens who patrol the garden for worms.  He participated in the founding of Sunstone, and has published articles and reviews in BYU Studies and Dialogue, as well as Sunstone.

Kelly McAfee: former head admin for Mamas Moving Forward (a sister group of Mama Dragons) and Mom to a transgender child.

Seth Bryant is the Director of Kirtland Temple and Seventy in Community of Christ.

Tom Kimball is a full-time student at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland.
