The 22 Major Arcana cards of the Tarot represent the soul’s archetypal journey through life. These cards have a remarkable ability to illuminate reality, including iconic moments and figures in Mormon history, and to support spiritual growth. The core of this presentation will be an overview of the Major Arcana with commentary on the traditional Tarot, followed by how they relate—sometimes with remarkable coincidence—to significant events & individuals of early Mormon history, represented in Joshua’s depiction of the Tarot. Sara will also do a simple Tarot exercise for audience members and conclude with a daring reading for Mormonism as a whole.
