Lindsay Hansen Park, Scott Barrett, and Monica Weitman are hosting a trivia contest at this year’s symposium, and everyone is invited!
The game will consist of 3 rounds of 7 questions each (and one bonus round!). At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins! Get a question wrong? Support Sunstone and buy a mulligan! Mulligans can be used as a second chance at a question. Read the rules list at the bottom of the page for more information on mulligans and what to expect.

Trivia Night is for FUN and socializing. Play to hang out, or play to win, up to you, but remember to try and keep the atmosphere light and fun for everybody involved. This event is happening in person, which means that digital attendees are not able to participate.
Each team will consist of no more than six players who will collaborate on an answer.
The Team Captain is the designated speaker for your team and will be responsible for providing your team’s written answer to the judges.
Trivia Night questions and answers are selected by the organizers. Answers used in the competition are the most commonly accepted answers, with citations and sources.
Please do not call out any answers (even if you are just trying to be funny).
No collaborating with other teams.
Team members will agree to adhere to Sunstone’s general code of conduct or be disqualified.
The judges are merely human; all decisions are final! No arguing with judges. Once a ruling has been made, the decision is final, no matter how unfair it may seem. This is for the good of the game, can speed up the game, and keeps it fair and enjoyable for everyone.
Use of reference materials of any kind (cell phones, laptops, really big books, etc) for researching answers is strictly prohibited. There will be baskets in the center of the table for your phones, etc. to go in. If you need to make a call, you may do so by politely leaving the area. However, if it occurs during a question session, you may not return to your team until after the round is completed. The utilization of electronic devices to secure answers will result in your team being disqualified for that round.
Teams can purchase mulligans from Sunstone! Mulligans are used for a second chance at a missed question. Each mulligan is $10.00. A maximum of six (6) mulligans per team can be purchased for the entire Trivia Night game for $60.00. Two mulligans per round (3 rounds total). Mulligans must be purchased prior to the Trivia Night Game starting. We will accept payment via cash, card, or venmo. Mulligans must be purchased on-site the day of the contest.
Each of our three rounds consists of ten questions. Every correct answer earns one point—the team with the highest score at the end of the game is the winner!
IN CASE OF A TIE: In the event of a tie, we will initiate a lightning round to determine the final winner!
