Liz Shropshire, founder of the Shropshire Music Foundation, will share the story of how a 3 week volunteer trip to help Kosovo refugees became a life-changing passion to teach war-affected children and teenagers all over the world that violence is not the answer, and that the path of peace is the path to happiness. She will share stories of local teenagers in each country who teach peace through music to the children in their communities. Liz will also discuss the prophet Mormon, himself a child of war, and what he teaches us about forgiveness, love, and the atonement.
